Beam Paints

Beam Paints is the result of a multi-generational love of pigment, paint, colour, and innovation in M'Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island. Anong Beam draws on her early educations in Indigenous pigment and expands it to encompass all paint traditions. A focus on high quality pigment content creates sublime artist materials, with plastic free packaging. Lightfast pigments, tree sap, gum arabic, and Manitoulin honey, blend together to create a handmade  saturated colour that is a joy to paint with.

Japanese Paper Place

From its humble beginnings in 1980, when founder Nancy Jacobi started showing artists and bookbinders these novel papers from the trunk of her car, The Japanese Paper Place staff continue their commitment to the company's mission to encourage and promote creativity with quality Japanese papers.

Tombow

Tombow is today’s market leader for art, crafts, school and office products. Serving consumers and businesses around the globe, Tombow was established in Japan in 1913 as a wood-case pencil provider for Japanese students. Since these beginnings, they have upheld a history of unparalleled customer service.

Liquitex

As we enter the 2020s, we look to the future with purpose: believing in the power of creative expression to create a better world where artists and communities can thrive. We're empowering our communities. Innovating our products and packaging. Creating better business practices.

In 2023 we become a certified B Corp, and launch our first SUSTAIN product: canvas made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. 80% of our wood and paper products are now Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. 20% to go. We introduce Basics Acrylic Fluid, the Basics range of creative surfaces, plus a capsule of studio apparel and accessories. Our global artist collaborations and community support projects are as busy as ever. Just imagine what the future will hold.

Tri-Art 

Tri-Art Manufacturing is a family run company that started producing artist’ acrylic paint as an off-shoot to an art supply store and gallery in Kingston called Art Noise. Production began on a small scale in the back of the store, producing one line of professional, acrylic colours. It was at this time, in 1994, that Tri-Art Manufacturing Incorporated was formed.

eco-kids

eco-kids began in 2008 in Maine by its founders Kip and Cammie Weeks. The line includes several more natural, plant-based, eco-friendly packaged creative tools and art supplies for kids.  

Roxanne Quimby, the co-founder of Burt’s Bees, has continued to grow the product selection with its original motto “creative play the natural way” at the heart of the company.

Natural Earth Paint

Natural Earth Paint as founded in 2011 by professional artist, mom and environmentalist, Leah Fanning. Leah had been searching for truly non-toxic, yet very high quality art supplies for years and finally decided to create the products that she desired. After realizing that this way of painting created much HIGHER quality supplies than the synthetic, toxic counterparts, she was on a mission to spread the word to artists everywhere.

We are a manufacturer of art materials and tools with over 100 years of history, supporting your creative activities through the ages. Its historic origin is our invention of Cray-pas (oil pastel) as a new coloring material in 1925.
